Community Funded Sponsorships

The Rose Academy of Burlesque is committed to increasing access to the arts for communities that are historically underrepresented, unrecognized, and uncredited for their contributions.

Our community-funded sponsorships will cover all or part of the cost of classes or workshops for individuals who identify as part of a marginalized community. This includes, but is not limited to, BIPOC, Trans & Non-Binary individuals, and others who have historically faced barriers to participation in the burlesque community. Our sponsorship program is evolving alongside the Rose Academy, and we appreciate your patience as we continue to expand this program.

This process is designed to avoid the unnecessary hurdles that often accompany financial aid programs. No additional documentation or financial statements are required to participate in our sponsorships. To be considered for any of our community-funded scholarships, please fill out this form.

The Rose Academy of Burlesque is committed to making our classes more accessible for individuals who are Black, Indigenous, and People of Color. If cost is a barrier, we offer community funded spots for students who identify as BIPOC to attend at no cost or at a reduced rate. This session will include two community funded spots that are 50% discounted and two that are 100% discounted. The spots are first come first serve.
