Flirt, Flow, and Flourish: Feather Fan Foundations

Elevate your burlesque with the art of feather fan dancing in this four week sereis! Whether you want to add elegance to your routine or mesmerize an audience, this class will help you command the stage with confidence.

Who Can Join:
This class is open to all skill levels—whether you’re a seasoned performer or brand new to the art of burlesque.

Do I Need Feather Fans?
Feather fans are highly recommended for class to get the best experience and master the techniques. If you don’t have feather fans, cardboard fans can be used as a substitute. However, silk fans aren’t recommended as they don’t provide the structure needed for this style of movement.

Whether you're a beginner or seasoned performer, you'll gain confidence and style while exploring playful choreography and sensual moves. No experience necessary—just bring your fabulous self and let the boa enhance your performance!

Do I need a feather boa?

An ostrich feather boa is recommended for class to get the best movement and effect. If you don’t have one, a long scarf or tulle boa can be used as a substitute. These options will still allow you to practice the technique and flow of the choreography!

Step into the Spotlight!

In Elevate Your Act: Level 1, you’ll unleash your creativity and begin shaping your unique burlesque persona. Through guided exercises and collaboration with fellow budding performers, you’ll craft your stage name, refine your presence, create your own pasties, and more!

Prerequisite: Students should have completed Group Performance Level 1 with The Rose Academy or an equivalent class elsewhere.
